Spunbond filter candle cartridges are eminently suitable for varieties of process filtration required by the industrial and service sectors, for film development, the filtration processes associated with photographic material production, for filtering solvents, and even for filtering the greases and oils used by various food production processes or for the desalination of seawater.

The candle filter cartridges made by melt-blown technology enable finer filtration and therefore application in many varieties of industrial process filtration due to the extensive range of filter materials used.

The media used in filter candles may be polypropylene, cotton or glass fibre, which determines the cartridge's heat resistance.

The most important parameters defining filter candles are the length and external diameter of the cartridge, the internal diameter of the filter candle, its maximum operating temperature, and the achievable filter grade.
