The advantage of work benches and fume hoods is that they can immediately neutralise by-products. Their purpose is to protect the health of workers and hygiene in the working environment. When work benches are introduced, the tasks performed on them are given a fixed location. These tasks can be separated into workflow processes with the aid of welding curtains. Another advantage of their structure is that various units can be exchanged in order to meet the requirements of the process at hand. For example, wet trays are added to benches to be used for manual cutting or grinding, which immediately cool the sparks and chips formed during the work and absorb the resulting dust. Surface-enhanced Z-shaped filter panels containing G4 filter cartridges are used for the local extraction of varnishes and aerosols. Extraction arms can be added to remove welding gases.

Local extraction centralised or island mode

These benches can be used for local extraction during sanding, cutting and welding both in island mode and with centralised extraction systems. The former uses an integrated fan but the latter a fan in a central unit to maintain the required airflow. Several setups can be used: extraction can be at the top, the bottom, or at the front of the equipment, and various accessories can be added to it. It should be mentioned that all these appliances have been ergonomically tested.

Easy emptying and cleaning

Both island and central systems can be set up to collect the larger, heavier particles in a bin via a grating on the work bench. The bin is easy to remove manually for emptying and cleaning. Smaller particles or any gases formed are neutralised by the filter cartridges, which can also be installed in the central system. 

Perfect, adjustable grating

The grating is generally made of wooden bars so it does not slip during sanding, but it can easily be replaced with either a metal grid or a perforated plate. We provide easily replaceable, 30*6 mm metal cutting rails for plasma cutting.  Work benches can also be fitted with fume hoods, soundproof side walls, overhead extraction hoods and individual lighting, as well as separate piping systems and fans.

Filter cartridges can also be installed for painting jobs and aerosol extraction; these are fixed to the benches and fitted with extraction hoods.
